Former Fighting Sioux Track and Field athlete Heidi Evans is currently pursuing her Master's in Kinesiology. Last May she completed her B.S. degree., while capping off her career as a Division II National Champion in the 1500 meters. The meet was held at Mt. Sac in California. She currently holds the school record in the 1500 meters (4:24.66) and has the third fastest performance for the Sioux in program history in the 800 meters (2.10.71).
