The Physics Department at the University of North Dakota offers excellent
academic opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate study in physics
and astronomy. The Department allows close contact between faculty and
students in a friendly environment, while providing outstanding research
facilities both on and off campus. Financial aid for both undergraduate
and graduate students is available.
The research interests of the faculty lie in the general areas of condensed matter
physics, astrophysics, and health physics. At any given time, both graduate
and undergraduate research assistantships are available for students interested
in conducting research in any one of these areas. If you are interested in
the professional activities of our faculty, please feel free to contact the
relevant individual(s).
