General Education Requirements Committee Workshop November 19,

1. The General Education Requirements Committee held their annual workshop on November 19 at 9:00 a.m. in the River Valley Room of the Memorial Union.

2. Those present at the meeting were committee members Matt Cavalli, Patarick Haertel, Birgit Hans, Mark Hoffmann, Tom Rand, Tom Steen, Brian Steenerson and Wendelin Hume. The Department representatives present were Jan Goodwin, Nutrition and Dietetics; Steve Moser, College of Business and Public Administration; Kim Porter, History; Martha Potvin, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost; Timothy Schroeder, Recreation & Leisure Services; and Clifford Staples, Sociology.

3. The discussion included revalidation forms, direct assessment, direct assessment questions and analysis of data to be included in the revalidation.
