Education Requirements Committee
1. A meeting of the GER Committee was held on January 26, in Carnegie Hall room 102.
Matt Cavalli presided.
2. Those present at the meeting were Suzanne Anderson, Olaf Berwald, Matt Cavalli, Greg Gagnon, Birgit Hans, Devon Hansen, Joan Hawthorne, Sukhvarsh Jerath, Adam Kitzes, John LaDuke, Lana Rakow, Ryan Zerr and Connie Borboa.

4. Liaison Updates: none at this time.
5. Communication 102 revalidation for social science category. Birgit Hans moved to not revalidate at this time. The motion was voted upon and carried with two abstentions.
6. Classical Language 102 revalidation for arts and humanities category and world cultures. Birgit Hans moved to revalidate Clas 102 for arts and humanities credit only and ask that additional information be submitted for world cultures credit. The motion was voted upon and carried with 8 in favor of and 2 opposed.
7. Classical Language 201 revalidation for arts and humanities category and world cultures. Joan Hawthorne moved to revalidate Clas 201 for arts and humanities credit and deny for world cultures credit. The department may submit additional information for world cultures credit. The motion was voted upon and carried with one abstention.
8. Classical Language 101 revalidation for arts and humanities category. Adam Kitzes moved to approve the request. The motion was voted upon and carried unanimously.
9. Math 105 and Math 146 revalidations for math, science and technology category. Adam Kitzes moved to approve the requests. The motion was voted upon and carried unanimously.
10. Courses deleted for general education credit: Clas 151, Clas 152, Clas 202, Clas 251, Clas 364, Anth 370, Engl 370
