Minutes of General Education Requirements Committee October 7, 2005

1. A meeting of the GER Committee was held on October 7 in Carnegie Hall room 102.

Anne Walker presided.

2. Those present at the meeting were Matt Cavalli, Jay Fisher, Birgit Hans, Lana Rakow, Ty

Reese, Dan Rice, Anne Walker and Connie Borboa.

3. Minutes September 9, 2005. Birgit Hans moved to approve the minutes. The motion was voted upon and carried unanimously.

4. General Education Task Force – Matt Cavalli, Anne Walker and Birgit Hans are members of this task force. Anne Walker gave an update on the task force.

5. The Committee reviewed the general education validation request. Anne Walker will bring updated copy to committee for review at next meeting.

6. The next meeting will be October 20 in Education Room 206.

7. The meeting adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
