A meeting of the GER Committee was held on
2. Those present at the meeting were Suzanne Anderson, Matt Cavalli, Devon Hansen, Joan Hawthorne, Adam Kitzes, Chuck Moretti, Don Poochigian, Lana Rakow, Ty Reese, Tom Steen, Ryan Zerr and Connie Borboa.
3. Minutes August 17. Lana Rakow moved to approve the minutes from August 17. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
4. As Co-chair of the Essential Studies Steering Committee, Tom Steen gave a brief overview on the work of the Steering Committee and led a discussion on the transition to Essential Studies.
Ryan Zerr asked Committee members to e-mail him ideas
regarding the structure of transition and long term structure of the committee
by the end of the day, Tuesday, September 11.
The next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for Friday, September 14,
