Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee
1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was
held on Thursday, October 14, Room 305, Twamley Hall.
Chuck Moretti presided.
2. Those present were Victoria Beard, Connie Borboa, Mary Cutler, Jim Haskins, Roxanne Hurley, Chuck Moretti, David Relling, Sandra
Short and Craig Silvernagel.
3. Minutes for
4. Craig Silvernagel and Jim
Haskins presented Entrepreneurial Studies Certificate for Non-Business majors
new program request; Entr 397, 201, and 387 course
change requests; and Entr 200 and 395 new course
requests. Jim Haskins moved to approve
all of the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried
unanimously.
5. Jim Haskins presented Fin 316 new course request and Fin 491 course change requests and moved approval of both. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
6. David Relling presented
Occupational Therapy change in program requirements request; O.T. 506 course
deletion request; and O.T. 511 course change request and moved approval of all.
The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
7. Sandra Short moved to table the Social Work requests
being the receipt of the change in program requirements request. The motion was
seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
8. Chuck Moretti presented PEXS
305 new course request and moved approval.
The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
9. Chuck Moretti presented
T&L 345, 350, 400 and 460 course change requests and moved approval of all.
The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
10. The Technology Department requests will be discussed next week.
11. Mary Cutler presented Mgmt 405 course deletion request and Mgmt 301 course change request and moved approval of both. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
