Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee

February 16, 2006

1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was held on Thursday, February 16, Room 404, Twamley Hall. Tom Zeidlik presided. Those present were Connie Borboa, Matthew Cavalli, Mary Drewes, Connie Gagelin, Roxanne Hurley, Assion Lawson-Body, Sandra Short and Tom Zeidlik.

2. Minutes January 19. Roxanne Hurley moved to approve the minutes from the January 19 meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

3. Tom Zeidlik presented CSCI 161 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

4. Tom Zeidlik presented SPST 200 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

5. Roxanne Hurley presented Nurs 271 and 272 new course requests and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried with two abstentions.

6. Roxanne Hurley presented the change in program requirements request for Coordinated Program in Dietetics and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously. Catalog copy will be forwarded to the Registrar’s Office.

7. Sandra Short presented T&L 390 course change request and moved approval. The

motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

8. Assion Lawson-Body presented Mrkt 330 new course request, Mrkt 320 and 420

course deletion requests, Mrkt 450 course change request, and Marketing change

in program requirements request and Management change in program requirements

request and moved to approve all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and

carried unanimously.

9. T&L 460 was tabled. Margaret Zidon will be invited to the next meeting to

discuss this request.

10. The meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
