Curriculum Committee
1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was
held on Thursday November 17, Room 404, Twamley Hall. Tom Zeidlik presided. Those present were Hyunsoo
Byun, Connie Borboa, Matthew Cavalli, Mary Drees, Connie Gagelin, Roxanne
Hurley, Art Jones, Assion Lawson-Body, Kanishka Marasinghe, David Relling Sandra
Short and Tom Zeidlik.
2. Minutes October 20. Tom Zeidlik moved to approve the minutes from the October 20 meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
3. Matt Cavalli presented B.S. in Chemical Engineering change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
4. Hyunsoo Byun, Arthur Jones and Roxanne Hurley presented Art 573 new course request. Roxanne Hurley moved to approve the request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
5. Kanishka Marsinghe presented change in program requirements for psychology majors and Psyc 120 new course request and moved approval of both. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
6. The minor in American Sign Language change in program requirements and CSD 344 new course request will be discussed at the next meeting.
7. David Relling presented PA 525, 515, 588 and 595 course change requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
8. David Relling presented the Athletic Training program change in program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
9. The next meeting will be December 8.
10. The meeting adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
