Curriculum Committee
1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was
held on Wednesday, April 20, Room 305, Twamley Hall. Tom Zeidlik presided. Those present were Connie
Borboa, Mary Cutler, Connie Gagelin, Jim Haskins, Roxanne Hurley, Nancy Krogh,
Assion Lawson-Body, Chuck Moretti, Ruth Paur, David Relling, and Tom Zeidlik.
2. Minutes of April 13 meeting. Jim Haskins moved to approve the minutes
from the April 13 meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried with
one abstention.
3. David Relling and Ruth Paur presented Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science change in program requirements request; CLS 516 course change request; CLS 509, 518, 519, and 520 new course requests. David Relling moved to approve all of the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
David Relling and Ruth Paur presented CLS Management Certificate program change in program requirements request; CLS 514 course change request: CLS 517 new course request. David Relling moved to approve all of the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
4. Roxanne Hurley presented Nurs 578 and 579 course change requests and moved to table. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
5. Chuck Moretti presented CIEN 501, 502 and 503 course change requests and
moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
6. Tom Zeidlik presented EE 522 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
7. Jim Haskins presented Mgmt 505 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
8. Jim Haskins moved to remove the Computer Science request from the table. Jim Haskins presented CSci 457 new course request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
9. Mary Cutler presented UNIV 101, 125, 126 and 127 new course requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
10. Nancy Krogh presented CLS 430 and 440 new course requests. Tom Zeidlik moved to approve the requests. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
11. The Minor in Early Childhood Education change in program requirements request was discussed. Jim Haskins moved to approve the request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
12. The Early Childhood Education: Kindergarten Endorsement change in program requirements request was discussed. Jim Haskins moved to table the request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
