Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee
1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was
held on Wednesday, March 23, Room 404, Twamley Hall. Chuck Moretti presided.
Those present were Connie Borboa, Connie Gagelin, Roxanne Hurley, Nancy Krogh,
Chuck Moretti, David Relling,
Sandra Short and Tom Zeidlik.
2. Minutes of March 2 meeting. David Relling moved to approve the minutes
from the March 2 meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried
unanimously.
3. David Relling presented the Histotechnician Certificate new academic program request and Path 360, 361, 362, 363, 367, 368 new course requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
4. Roxanne Hurley presented the Teaching Certification in Biology change in program requirements request; B.S. with major in Biology (pre-Health Sciences Emphasis) change in program requirements request; and Biol 332 and 470 course change requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
5. Chuck Moretti presented ME 370 new course request and ME 487 course change
request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried
unanimously.
6. David Relling moved to remove PPT 520 new course request and PPT 525, 526, 528 and 529 course deletion requests from the table. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously. The requests will be returned to the department per their request.
