Minutes of the University Curriculum Committee
1. A meeting of the University Curriculum Committee was
held on Wednesday, March 2, Room 305, Twamley Hall. Chuck Moretti presided.
Those present were Connie Borboa, Mary Drewes, Connie Gagelin, Roxanne
Hurley, Nancy Krogh, Chuck Moretti,
David Relling, Sandra Short and Tom Zeidlik.
2. Minutes of February 23 meeting. Chuck Moretti moved to approve the minutes
from the February 23 meeting. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried
unanimously.
3. Chuck Moretti presented the M.F.A. in Visual Arts change I program requirements request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
4. Chuck Moretti presented ME 514 course change request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
5. Tom Zeidlik presented M.S. in Space Studies change in program requirements
request; SpSt 501, 540, 541, 545, 555, 560, 565, 590, 595 course change
requests, SpSt 502, 538 new course requests; SpSt 550 course deletion request;
M.S. in Space Studies change in program requirements-Admission and moved
approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
6. Sandra Short presented the M.M. – Performance or Pedagogy Specialization change in program requirements request and Musc 522 and 555 new course requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
7. David Relling presented M.S. in Industrial Technology change in program requirements request; IT 535, 565 course deletion requests; IT 500, 510, 555, 591 new course requests; and IT 525, 545 course change requests and moved approval of all. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
8. David Relling presented M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences change in program requirements request; ATSC 500, 599 course change requests and ATSC 997 new course request and moved approval of all.
9. Roxanne Hurley presented M.S. in Computer Science change in program requirements request and CSCI 536 course deletion request and moved approval. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
10. The minor in Political Science change in program requirements request was added to the agenda. Tom Zeidlik moved to approve the request. The motion was seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.
