Emphasis Areas in Chemical Engineering
Many chemical engineering students plan to pursue careers in industries that look for chemcial engineers with specific educational backgrounds in areas such as biochemical, environmental, management, environmental health and safety and entrepreneurship. Other students interested in pursuing graduate or professional degrees may be interested in focusing their studies in areas such as law, medicine, and chemical engineering research. A series of emphasis areas have been designed to help students tailor their education to their career goals.
The emphasis areas are:
Biochemical Emphasis
Chemical Engineering Research Emphasis
Environmental-Health_Safety (EHS) Emphasis
Environmental Engineering Emphasis
Pre-Health Sciences Emphasis
Pre-Law Emphasis
Entrepreneurship Emphasis
Management Emphasis
