Your Employee Benefit!
For just $10.95 per credit hour, UND employees who have passed their probationary period may enroll in University classes. Employees may take up to three (3) academic courses each calendar year, and may be granted work release time to attend one academic class per school session. Work release time must be approved by the individual employee's supervisor. Continue your education, earn a degree, or improve your skills by using the Tuition Waiver!
Enrolling is easy. Employees can choose from hundreds of courses. Here's how to enroll:
Pick up admission materials, registration materials, and a Tuition Waiver Form at the Office of Admissions, 205 Twamley Hall (phone 777-3821) or at the Graduate School office, 414 Twamley Hall (phone 777-2784).
Or download the form here: http://www.und.edu/org/hr/html/Forms.htm
Choose a course from the course catalog/class schedule. Prerequisites or other factors may affect your registration.
Fill out the forms and return them to the Office of Admissions (undergraduates) or the Graduate School. Supervisors must sign the completed Tuition Waiver Form. Please note the deadline for completing the forms coincides with registration deadlines for each school session.
Register for the class according to the instructions in the course catalog/schedule. If you are enrolling at UND for the first time, you need to complete and return an Application for Admission form, available from the Office of Admissions or the Graduate School. There is a $35 fee for an employee who has not previously enrolled. Transcripts from schools previously attended may need to be filed.
*Please note that some courses have additional fees that cannot be waived. |
