Studio One and it's students receive 24 awards from journalism associations

The University of North Dakota’s live television production, Studio One and its students were awarded 24 awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, Northwest Broadcast News Association and North Dakota Professional Communicators.  Students’ and program work was evaluated from the fall 2009- spring 2010 show seasons.  “It was great to see who didn’t expect to win, who were encouraged to enter, actually receive acknowledgement for their hard work.  My highlight was seeing students’ reactions to the awards,” says
Studio One News Director Stephanie Flyger.  Below is a complete list of awards from the competitions.
