Audio Teleconferencing
SPEAKER PHONES
Two styles of audio teleconferencing speaker phones are available for short-term loan at no charge to University Departments needing to be involved in conference calls. Both units require an analog (standard phone) line and are easy to set up. Both units are capable of three-way conferencing. Refer to blue dialing instructions card for single line instruments for three-way conferencing feature instructions.
- 8110 speaker phone is recommended for small group settings up to six people
- SoundStation Premier Teleconferencing Unit with extention mics for larger groups in a conference room type setting
- Voice Station 100
Dial 7-3245 to reserve either unit. Arrange to pick up the unit before the conference and return it promptly.
SIX-PARTY CONFERENCING FACTS SHEET
The UND telephone switch has six-party meet-me conferencing capability available for department use. One assigned telephone number is dialed by each of the conference attendees and an assigned six-digit conferenece code is entered to join the conference. Departments may elect to have a meet-me conferenece set up either to use as needed for several months or for a one-time use.
Departments electing to have a meet-me conference set up for extended use do not need to schedule usage with Telecommunications. The conference number and conference code is set up permanently and available for use whenever there is a need to join a maximum six people together for a conference call.
Departments wishing to set up a one-time conference will have the conference number and conference code available for the scheduled date only.

Call Patti Campoverde at 7-3245 to schedule a six-party meet-me conference. You will be asked to supply the Department Name, Conference Contact Name and Telephone Number and the Department Account Number for charges and indicate whether the conference is one time or for extended use. The Conference Contact Person will be called back with the assigned telephone number and conference code.
