Graduates of the Early Childhood Education program will be life-long learners and reflective teachers who engage children in constructivist environments.

The early childhood education program emphasizes the child in his/her context of family, culture and community. The program is constructivist and includes developmentally appropriate practices, emergent curriculum, descriptive assessment, problem-solving approaches to resolving conflict and choices for children.
