Early Childhood Education Graduate Program
'

The Department of Teaching and Learning is UND's principal academic unit for teacher education. This mission is as old as the University itself. In more than a century, UND has graduated several thousand students with master's degrees, specialist diplomas and doctoral degrees in education. These graduates have gone on to responsible teaching and administrative positions in colleges and universities, state departments of public instruction, elementary and secondary schools, private and public preschool programs, and government agencies throughout the United States and the world.

The graduate programs provide a variety of learning environments and educational opportunities dedicated to the personal and professional growth of students. A wide variety of courses - independent study, colloquial seminars, practical and other options - enable students to individualize their programs.

In addition to providing degree programs, UND's Department of Teaching and Learning functions as a service institution for early childhood settings, elementary and secondary schools, and colleges and universities in the Upper Midwest.
