Research Interests:
I am a project archeologist and field director
for UND, and have been since returning to UND
in 1998. My primary responsibles are to direct
testing, excavation, and survey projects in
the Dakotas and Wyoming (Northern Great Plains).
I have been a professional archeologist since
1990 and have worked, in various capacities,
on dozens of projects in North America, including
the Great Plains, Northern Rocky Mountains,
Texas, American Southwest, and the Midwest.
My main interests and specialties include:

- Hot-Rock Cooking and Fire-Cracked Rock Analysis
- Experimental Archeology
- GIS, GPS, and Electronic Site Mapping
