This is a picture of a small kettle lake from the top of Mystic Mountain in northern Minnesota. Small lakes like this are frequent with the past glacial action over the region. Mystic Mountain itself is one of the higher points in northeastern Minnesota. It is located on the property of the Wolf Ridge Environmental Center where much field research is done.
