The Environment of the Week
1/19/98

This is an aerial shot of Devils Lake located in eastern North Dakota.
Devils Lake has been the topic of much discussion and controversy in the
past two years. The lake is without an outlet and as water from nearby streams
and rivers feed the lake, the shoreline disappears and the water level increases.
Residents and federal scientists are working hard to determine the best
solution to the problem. For more info on Devils Lake, check out the Water Module.
