Take a look at
The Environment of the Week
3/2/98

Being that the creators of Earthscape are from Grand Forks, North Dakota, we decided it was time that our city and region was added to the Environment of the week. This city isn't any different than the typical one, but the city after the Spring flood of 1997 was definitely affected by a changing environment. Record crests of the Red River destroyed and inundated over 75% of the town and changed the way we will life for quite some time. Environmental effects and changes by climate and human influences caused this disaster. Learn more in the Great Flood of 1997.
