Review:
This very exciting CD is a must have for any trumpet player and music teacher alike. It's rich full sound and outstanding performances by Wynton Marsalis and the Eastman Wind Ensemble are top-notch. The technical proficiency of Marsalis is astonishing and the difficult role of accompanying by the ensemble is executed with great precision. This recording works well as a model for good intonation, articulations, blend, and balance.
