TUNES

No Hanson, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, or other teen-age chick music. No rap unless its good rap, and definitely no rap by white guys pretending to be black. No country music about cars, dogs, mothers, trucks, old girl/boy friends, bank robbing or trains. Classical music-earphones only. No Norwegian folk tunes or accordion music. Not too much n-synch or stuff like that. BNL's OK even if it is Canadian. We'll get plenty of ukulele if we want, so leave those CDs behind.

FINANCES

The total costs are more-or-less in. And, things look pretty good. Here is a summary of expenses that you have already paid for (per person):

catamaran boat/snorkel trip $74 (includes breakfast and bar-b-q lunch)
So, the only other expenses for sure are breakfast and dinner for about 10 days - PLAN ON $250 TO BE SAFE. But, you may want some $$ for entertainment or beverages. And, you have at least one day off in Honolulu that may cost money. Be warned (told you before) that real food is not cheap in Hawaii. Burgers, however, are burgers - if we can find them.

TRAVEL DETAILS

If weather is going to be a problem we may have to change plans a bit. So watch you email during the next few days. And, if things look goofy Thursday night, call Don or Dex.

We leave Friday morning before Spring Break. NDSU folks meet at Stevens Hall at 3am. UND people will meet at Leonard Hall at 4:30am. This means be ready to leave at 3/4:30 am. We will be driving NDSU and UND vehicles to Winnipeg. No private cars!
