Founded at DePauw University in 1885, Alpha Chi Omega is a national women's organization that enriches the lives of both its collegiate and alumnae members through lifetime opportunities for friendship, leadership, learning, and service.

The Alpha Pi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega is located in the middle of the University of North Dakota campus, two blocks from the Memorial Union Building and the Chester Fritz Library.
