What is Alpha Phi Omega?

Alpha Phi Omega is a national service fraternity founded by Frank Reed Horton at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.

After serving in the United States Marine Corps. in World War I, Horton decided to start an organization that would uphold its members to a "standard of manhood" and to try and help the nations of this world settle their disputes in a manner other than war.

Alpha Phi Omega was founded on the beliefs of the Boy Scout Oath and Law, a code of morals and idelas Horton believed should be strengthened in everyone.
