The 2005 ASME Region VII Student Conference will be held at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, on April 7-9.

The keynote speaker for our conference has been confirmed!  Dr. Karen Nyberg - a NASA astronaut, UND alumnus, and member of ASME - will speak on Saturday from 10:30 AM to noon.

We invite you to travel to Grand Forks for this event!  Activities are being planned, and will include:
  • Impromptu design competition
  • Old Guard oral presentation competition
  • Old Guard poster contest
  • ASME design competition, "Bulk Material Transporter"
  • Speakers
  • Career fair
  • Banquet
  • Tours of campus and/or local industry
 
The Mileage Reimbursement Form for student sections is now available for downloading from this site.  This form should be completed by each student section and returned to ASME's Midwest Field Office by March 18, 2005.
