Colleen was born and raised in California where she earned degrees in counseling, psychology, and exercise biology. She is in her third year in the counseling psychology doctoral program at the University of North Dakota. One day she hopes to work in a college counseling center serving the general student body while focusing on student-athletes, first year students and graduate students. Her main research interest is suicide prevention in the college student population. She is excited about the opportunity to be a part of the SAS executive board as the network coordinator and hopes to be able to put faces to the many names! In spare time, enjoys talking to family and friends from CA, hanging out with North Dakota folk, exercising, watching/attending sporting events, watching t.v., and sleeping!
