Emilia Boeschen, MA
Past Co-Chair
Emilia is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska and consequently is a HUGE college football fan as a result (Go Huskers!). In her spare time, Emilia enjoys cooking gourmet meals for her friends and classmates with help from her favorite Rachel Ray cookbook. In her other spare time as a busy graduate student, she also enjoys distance running and has run in various 10K's and half-marathons. Her research interests include stereotypes around disability, as well as experiences of performance anxiety in special populations. Emilia enjoyed her work with SAS because it gave her an opportunity to utilize her enthusiasm and cheerful personality to get other students excited about the future of Counseling Psychology. Involvement with SAS got her very passionate about current issues affecting the field of Counseling Psychology and helped her become very attentive to Counseling Psychology training needs. She knows this experience will come in handy as she applies for jobs this next year and is excited to stay involved in Division 17 after obtaining her PhD in 2010. Emilia is the past co-chair for SAS.
