The UND Staff Advisory Committee (SAC), as referenced in the NDUS Human Resource Policy Manual, Section 32, was formally appointed by President Kendall L. Baker on June 2, 1997. This committee consists of individuals responsible for a form of personnel administration within the following: John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, Energy and Environmental Research Center, Human Nutrition Research Center, Plant Services, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Payroll, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Operations, Facilities Department, the Office of the Vice President for Student and Outreach Services, and the Director of Human Resources, the Assistant Director of Human Resources, and the Human Resource Officer. The objectives of this Committee are to consider and recommend new or revised policies, procedures, and processes for staff employment at UND; to advocate equitable and fair implementation and application of such policies, procedures, and processes; and to promote communication with all UND staff employees.
