Welcome to NDAA on the Web, the cyberspace home of the North Dakota Archaeological Association!
The North Dakota Archaeological Association is an organization of people and institutions interested in the archaeology of North Dakota and the Northern Great Plains. NDAA's membership is composed of professional and amateur archaeologists from throughout North Dakota, the Northern Plains, and the United States.
The objectives of the association are:
- To organize people interested in archaeology.
- To foster the study and teaching of archaeology.
- To promote the scientific investigation, preservation, and publication of archaeological information.
- To enlist the aid of all citizens in reporting, preserving, and recording any archaeological sites.
To accomplish these goals, the association does the following:
- Holds Fall and Spring meetings.
- Publishes a quarterly newsletter.
- Publishes an occasional journal.
- Organizes field trips to archaeological and historical sites.
- Has opportunities to participate in archaeological fieldwork.
