· College Parents of America
Provides a voice for parents of current and prospective college students. They provide information to parents and also represent the needs of these parents at congressional hearings, at higher education symposiums, and I state legislatures. One of the issues they focus on is alcohol and drug problems on campus.
· Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America (CADCA)
CADCA is a national organization devoted to helping coalitions that aim to reduce alcohol-and other drug—related problems in their communities. CADCA has a section with information for parents.

A national organization that can assist individuals and groups wanting to address the issue of underage drinking and substance abuse in local communities.
· National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI)
NCADI offers a wide selection of alcohol and other drug prevention materials, most available at no cost.
· National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign
Created to equip parents and other adult caregivers with the tolls they need to raise drug-free kids. Working with the nation’s leading experts in the fields of parenting and substance abuse prevention. Services as a drug prevention information center, and a supportive community for parents to interact and learn from each other.

An organization aimed at providing accurate information, support and resources to assisting parents and other in raising healthy, drug-free children.
· Security on Campus
An organization dedicated to crime prevention on college campuses. Contains information about campus crime and prevention strategies.
· Talking with Kids About Tough Issues
Initiative by Children Now and the Kaiser Family Foundation to encourage parents to talk with their children earlier and more often about tough issues like sex, HIV/AIDS, violence, alcohol and drug abuse. Offers practical information for families that help open doors to better communication between parents and children
