Maps and directions


The best way is to take HWY 83 North of Bismarck to Washburn.
Take HWY 200A West/Left from Washburn for about 4.5 miles.
At Hensler "Don't Blink, Hensler ND" keep heading straight until you cross the tracks and then turn South/left at the paved road.

Go South for 5 miles and turn East/left on the paved road with Park directional sign.
Go East for 4.5 miles to a "T" intersection.
Turn North/left and go 2 miles to the end of the pavement which is the park entrance. All of these intersections are signed for the park.

The North Dakota Star Party is located almost dead center in North Dakota. There is a airport in Bismarck that you can fly into and rent a car to get to the star party. From Bismarck Cross Ranch State Park is about 45 minutes to an hour North. You may wish to ask for a more detailed state map if our maps are not detailed enough.
