North Dakota, Badlands Star Party Welcome to the North Dakota Badlands Star Party, Not to be confused with the South Dakota Badlands Star Party, the North Dakota Badlands Star Party takes place each August in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. For 2007, the event is the weekend of August 10/11, the weekend of the Perseid meteor shower.
