Maps and directions


From either north or south, take Highway 83 to Washburn. Use Highway 200 to cross the Missouri River. Turn south at Hensler and look for signs to turn east and then north to reach the park. Washburn is the closest town and contains restaurants, hotels, and the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.

The North Dakota Star Party is located almost dead center in North Dakota. There is a airport in Bismarck that you can fly into and rent a car to get to the star party. From Bismarck Cross Ranch State Park is about 45 minutes to an hour North. You may wish to ask for a more detailed state map if our maps are not detailed enough.
