Student-Athlete Advisory Council

The UND Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes from each sport, assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience; to offer input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' lives on the University of North Dakota campus; encourage student-athletes to engage in community service to the Grand Forks Area; and provide opportunities for UND Student-Athletes with yearly activities to promote camaraderie within the Athletic Department.

An Association-wide SAAC was adopted by legislation approved at the 1989 NCAA Convention, and was formed primarily to review and offer student-athlete input on NCAA activities and proposed legislation that affected student-athletes.
