Disribution
The
Verbascum thapsus is a member of the genus Verbascum blattaria.
This genus contains over 300 species. These species are native to Europe,
North Africa, and Western and Central Asia. Some species including the
Verbascum thapsus are found throughout the United States. They
are typically found in clearings, sparsely inhabited fields, and along
roadsides.
