About Us
Founded in 1982, The
University of North Dakota 10% Society is the oldest Gay, Lesbian,
Bisexual & Transgender organization in the state of North Dakota.
Our primary goal is to provide a safe, respectful & supportive
environment for GLBT Students, Faculty, Staff & Members of the
greater Grand Forks community.
Our purpose is threefold: to provide support
for members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT)
communities at UND and in the greater Grand Forks area; to provide education
related to understanding and appreciating differing sexual and gender
identities for group members as well as for the larger Grand Forks
community; and to promote advocacy for the GLBT
communities locally, regionally, and nationally.
Membership shall be without regard to race, religion,
creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin,
handicap, age, marital status, veteran status, political belief or
affiliation, or membership or non-membership in any other
