TEAM MANDI!!!
Amanda (Mandi) Brodeur (Spring 2004 pledge class) is a Senior Nursing Major at the University of North Dakota. She is an active leader on campus and a friend to everyone she meets. In October she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. It is a rare blood cancer most commonly found in children under 10, with only about 4,000 cases diagnosed in the United States each year.
After spending a few weeks at the Mayo Clinic receiving Chemotherapy treatments, she is now at home in Fargo, ND. She takes daily trips to the Roger Maris Cancer Center for treatment and is awaiting a Bone Marrow Transplant.
The Alpha Pi Chapter as well as the UND campus has been fundraising like crazy...and we need your support too!!
Orange(the color for Leukemia)"Team Mandi" t-shirts are being sold for $15. "Team Mandi" bracelets (similar to the Livestrong ones) will also be sold for $3. If you would like either one or both please send an e-mail to teammandi@hotmail.com.
Donations can be sent to the 2500 University Ave. Grand Forks, ND 58203. Please make checks to: Team Mandi
Mandi, her family, and her friends would greatly appreciate your support!!! For more information visit www.carepages.com, site name "Mandis Journey".
