Early Childhood Education Student Organization
ACTIVITES:
We are planning on working with refugee families this year to help children under
school age learn some things about ND culture and also read to them to hopefully
help them to start learning English.
We had Anne Walker come in and speak to us about English Language Learners and
how to help them transition better.
We also have teacher panels at least once a
semester so that we, as students, can ask questions about things we are worried
about, like what they look for in a student teacher.
We also plan on doing a booth
at the Hands-On Learning Fair and we also would like to participate in the Big
Event this year.
