Karen Russell is the author of a collection of short stories, St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves, and the novel Swamplandia!, which was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize. She has been featured in The Best American Short Stories, The New Yorker’s debut fiction issue, and New York Magazine’s list of twenty-five people to watch under the age of twenty-six, and was chosen as one of Granta’s Best Young American Novelists.
