After your application is processed,
you will get an email from the Computer Center
with the following information:
Name: "Your Name"
Login Name: "jjones"
Directory Name: "instruct/jjones"
Complete Path: "/www/docs/instruct/jjones"
Before you begin to create your webpage, you
must logon to the UND server and change your
password. This can be done by the following
method:
Click on the "Start" button, choose "Run", enter "Telnet" and
press "Ok". Choose "Connect" and "Remote
System". Change the "host
name" to www.und.nodak.edu and press "Connect"
After you get on, you will be prompted for
your Login Name and Password. Your password
should have been what you choose when you filled
out the "Application for Web Space."
You will then be prompted to change your password,
and then to re-enter it for verification. After
this, you may close telnet. |
