Community Discussion Series
55th Annual UND Writers Conference
Community Writing Workshops & Reading Event:
We're trying something new this year!!
But, always, all events are free and Open to the Public!!
We know that the Grand Cities is filled with writers at all levels from varying backgrounds, and that there never seem to be enough opportunities for people to gather and learn more about their craft.
We also know that our area is filled with avid readers, who might like to gather and talk about what they're reading from time-to-time, rather than just reading in their solitude
So, as co-directors, we thought: WHY NOT BOTH?!
This spring, we're happy to announce that leading up to the 55th Annual UND Writers Conference, we will offer two writing workshops/craft talks—one focused on poetry, the other on fiction—taught by Casey Fuller and Patrick Henry. Next, Anna Kinney will moderate a discussion on all of the authors who will appear at the Conference, the Sunday before they start arriving!
Spring 2024 Schedule (all events at the GF Public Library):
- Sunday, February 18 at 2 pm: Community Poetry Workshop, led by Casey Fuller
- Sunday, February 25 at 2 pm: Community Fiction Workshop, led by Patrick Henry
- Sunday, March 17 at 2 pm: UND Writers Conference Book Circle, led by Anna Kinney
